| 如何看待孔子及儒家学说是中国现代思想转型的核心命题。这一问题发端于康有为,而章太炎在辛亥革命之前的诋孔,到陈独秀《新青年》时期发起的反孔反传统运动,则构成了中国现代思想进程的主线。章太炎初刻本《訄书·尊荀》一文建立起损益的历史发展观,在这一历史观内,其复刻本《訄书·订孔》与日本讲学时期的《论诸子学》两文,开启了现代批孔的滥觞。陈独秀是在继承章氏诋孔言论的基础上,站在进化论与西方现代文明的普世化立场,指出孔教与现代生活的冲突之处。两人的批孔构成了相互联系又相互区别的微妙关系,能为当今中国的文化发展提供借鉴。 |

| Criticizing Confucius——from Zhang Taiyan to Chen Duxiu |

| How to treat Confucius and Confucianism is a key problem of modern Chinese thought transformation. It was raised by Kang Youwei, but Zhang Taiyan 's comments against Confucius before the Revolution of 1911 and Chen Duxiu 's criticism of Confucius and traditional culture dominate the development of modern Chinese thought. In his article of Evaluating Xunzi(《尊荀》) in the early edition of Qiushu(《訄书》), Zhang Taiyan developed his view of history that we should inherit and develop traditional culture. His article of Evaluating Confucius(《订孔》) in the later edition of Qiushu and Evaluating Pre-qin Thinkers(《论诸子学》) published when he was in Japan started modern criticism of Confucius. Following Zhang Taiyan, Chen Duxiu pointed out the contradictions between Confucius thoughts and modern social life from Evolutionary and Universalism points of view in Western modern civilization. Their views can provide reference for the development of modern Chinese culture. |
