| 《西游补》的主旨,虽然历来被人们认为是批判社会现实,破情根立道根,但小说中透露出的潜意识焦虑同样值得注意。在与外部世界斗争受到阻挠时,主人公行者内心焦虑,行为延宕,并最终产生了幻灭之感,这种无名焦虑贯穿了小说始末。而受到焦虑情绪影响的行者形象,正是作者董说的自况。此外,《西游补》大篇幅的梦境描写,来源于董说的嗜梦情结和孤高个性。其独特的艺术风格,使得《西游补》成为了一部极具现代性,甚至有些意识流的作品,在中国古典小说中独树一帜,值得探究。 |

| Abstract: |
| The theme of Hsi-Yu Pu has been recognized as criticizing social realities of Ming Dynasty, opposing sentimental activities and spreading Taoism. But the subconscious anxiety in this Chinese novel also deserves attention. While fighting with the external world and chasing the ideal in his mind, Xing Zhe, the hero in this novel, faced irresistible obstruction, which made him feel anxious all the time, behave dilatorily and fall into disillusionment in the end. Xing Zhe 's image reflects pretty much the condition of the author Dong Shuo. Besides, large space is devoted to the description of the dreamworld in this novel because of Dong Shuo 's dreaming, proud and aloof character.The unique artistic style makes Hsi-Yu Pu a special classical novel with modernity and even a sense of stream-consciousness. |
