牟宗三文化哲学视域下西方至善理念的认识论转向及其困境

摘要:
牟宗三以文化哲学为视角探究了西方至善理念的形成和演化过程。“善”的理念作为古希腊城邦政治构建的前提,具有统摄性、超越性和永恒性。肇始于人们求善的一种活动,善成为了脱离人类主体而在外部世界架构出来的纯粹理性之物,它有着理性之外延表现,避免了抽象化但能够为人类知性所领会,进而发生了认识论转向。至善理念的道德意蕴之所以得到弱化,其困境在于:向主体之外探寻的路径所建立的道德意义难以自足,强调客观化领会善的行动无法确证道德本身,不依赖于人的主观证实的善也是不存在的。作为道德主体性的彰显,唯有人的主体性确立起来,善的伦理学价值方可确立。

Epistemological Turn of the Western Concept of Goodness from the Perspective of MouZongsan 's Cultural Philosophy

Abstract:
MouZongsan explored the formation and evolution of the Western concept of "goodness" from the perspective of cultural philosophy. The idea of "goodness" began in ancient Greece and participated in the construction of city-state politics. It has the characteristics of unity, transcendence and permanence. Originated from people 's activity in pursuit of goodness, goodness becomes a purely rational thing that is deviated from the human subject and is constructed in the external world. It has a rational and extended performance. It avoids abstraction but is able to be perceived by human knowledge, thus leading to an epistemological turn. The moral implication of the concept of goodness is weakened, and its dilemma lies in the lack of self-sufficiency in the moral meaning established by the way of exploring outside the subject. Emphasizing the objective understanding of good actions cannot confirm morality itself. Goodness that does not depend on human subjective confirmation does not exist. As a manifestation of moral subjectivity, the ethical value of goodness can be established only when the subjectivity of people is established.
