| Abstract: |
| The eulogies during the Qin and Han Dynasties made great effects on the history of eulogy, including forms of works, ways of rhetoric, styles of aesthetics and connotation of philosophy, etc. They provided important foundation for eulogies during the Wei and Jin States and the Southern and Northern Dynasty. Except for that, they became the literary nonesuch for eulogies after the Tang and Song dynasties, especially the latter gradually relapsing into the swamp of reminiscence and ossification. |
