| This paper investigates declarative sentences in Xiuxingbenqijing and Zhongbenqijing. It is found that declarative sentences in this two books use many sentence forms, and they usually use copula. The copula "shi" is widely used and it plays different roles. The conclusion is that the copula "shi" has come mature in the late Han Dynasty. |
