| 胜利油田是新中国兴建的大型工业区之一,曾是中国的第二大油田。对胜利油田普通话和方言两种语码的使用情况进行社会语言学调查发现:普通话是胜利油田工业区的通用语言,而方言的功能和语域则十分有限。胜利油田“普通话状态”的形成主要与油田人口构成和流动、油田居民语言态度、城市化建设和经济结构有关。胜利油田工业区形成了以东营区为岛心,以周边东营市、邻近区县为外围,由内向外辐射的环形语言岛。 |

| A Survey on the Usage of Language in Shengli Oilfield: a Case Study of Language Usage in China 's New Industrial Zones |

| Shengli Oilfield is one of the large new industrial zones and also the second largest oilfield in China. We conduct a survey on the usage of Putonghua and dialects in Shengli Oilfield. We find that Putonghua is the common language in Shengli Oilfield Industrial Zone, and the dialects is used very limited in function and register. "Putonghua state" in Shengli Oilfield is mainly caused by the population composition and population flow, the language attitudes, urbanization and economic structure. Language usage in Shengli Oilfield forms a ring language island, whose heart is Putonghua and surrounding is Dongying District and neighboring counties. |
