Abstract: |
In order to improve management level, firms usually innovate by radical changes. But the other change method-Kaizen, also called continuous improvement-is disregarded. Continuous improvement is deemed to be a kind of Japanese philosophy, while in the West little room being left for its survival. Both continuous improvement and radical change is necessary for a firm, and therefore the mission of the top executives is to keep balance between them. |
