| 许多现当代女性主义评论家把女性作家笔下的哥特作品视为一种独立的文学体裁,因为它自身有着独特的意识形态和美学特征。通过探讨女性哥特视阈中《呼啸山庄》的三个女性形象,即凯瑟琳、伊莎贝拉和凯西在情节发展中各自不同的哥特式体验,以及其深陷困境、拼死抗争及反抗胜利的情节线索,可以感悟到隐匿在小说巧妙复杂的叙述方式之下女性体验的恐惧、疯癫的根源,及其不朽的文学魅力和震撼人心的力量。 |

| Wuthering Heights has been attracting numerous critics and scholars. However, its female gothic perspective is discussed until recent years. The paper discusses the female gothic aspects of the three female characters, i.e. Catherine 's predicament, Isabella 's desperate resistance and Cathy 's triumph, and explores the origin of women 's fear, terror and madness. |
