| Kuhn loss" is an important view of Kuhn 's scientific development, which tells people:scientific revolution means that the new theory replaces the old one, but the new theory is not superior to the old in all aspects, but has less, that is:some loss appeared in the process of this replacement. This view reveals the dialectics of the gain and the loss, the advance and the retreat, the right and the wrong, the success and the failure in the process of scientific development. It is a great significance for people to realize it when they make the proper evaluation and choice between the new and the old theory so as to promote healthy development of the science. |
