离散度在人才评价中作用的再认识

摘要:
离散度反映的是数据的离散程度,是人才评价中的一项重要的统计指标,对科学分析、准确把握人才评价结果起着重要的作用。离散度在人才评价中实际上代表的是各评价人对被评价对象看法的差异,反映评价人在认识上的集中水平。在人才评价中,传统的解释是在总分相同的情况下,离散度小者优于离散度大者。而实际情况是,由于离散度受多种因素的影响,单纯地以离散度的大小是不能准确地判断人才优劣的。只有把离散度和平均得分有机地结合起来综合考量,才能对人才作出科学评价。

Abstract:
The term "dispersion", reflecting the data scatter degree, serves as an important statistical index for evaluating talents and plays a vital role in scientific analyses and accurate command of talents evaluation results. Dispersion represents the discrepancy of evaluators opinions on the evaluatee, namely the centralization of evaluators recognition. In terms of talents evaluation, the conventional interpretation indicates that on the condition of equivalent aggregate points, the evaluatee with lower dispersion is superior to those with higher one. However, the reality is that dispersion, which is subject to influence of various factors, cannot accurately determine the superiority of talents on its own. Consequently, only by integration of dispersion and mean score can we make scientific evaluation of talents.
