| 自晚清之际就遭受质疑的文言,在新文学运动初期更是被视为白话不共戴天之“死敌”。但无论是胡适还是后起的白话新诗人,都无法摆脱文言的影响。文言自始至终就没有被完全驱逐出现代新诗的领地,而是始终潜存于貌似“彻底”白话的语言形式之中。 |

| Classical Chinese that has been criticized since the late Qing Dynasty was regarded as the absolutely irreconcilable enemy early in the new literature movement. But no matter whether it is Hu Shi or other modern poets could not get rid of the influence of Classical Chinese. Classical Chinese has never been driven out of the field of modern poem but lurks the complete seemingly modern Chinese form. |
