| 俞琰易数观仅承认天地之数和大衍之数,且认为九宫数等皆推衍附会之论,其中天地之数是诠释宇宙生化之模式,大衍之数经天地之数推衍而出,呈现了人事吉凶变化之模式。河洛之论由来已久,其后逐渐成为画卦之依据,俞琰批驳了过去各家对河洛的看法,特别对孔安国“伏羲据河图画八卦,大禹因洛书成九畴”的观点和刘牧“以五十五数为洛书,四十五数为河图”的观点进行了反驳,后又考证出河图、洛书仅是天意之指代,河图实乃河玉,洛书则是白石。总之,俞琰不仅驳斥了当时人们对“易数”和“河洛之学”的诸多观点,而且考证提出了自己独到的见解,对“易数”和“河洛之学”的研究做出了很大的贡献。 |

| Yu Yan 's Disputes and Textual Criticism on the Numeral of Zhouyi and the Book of Hilo-system |

| In the numeral system of Zhouyi, Yu Yan only admitted two things:that is the number of heaven and earth and the number of large expansion. Meanwhile, he also articulated that the number picture of the nine places is deduction. For him, the number of heaven and earth is used to explain the creating and transforming model of the universe; the number of the large, which deducted from the former one, is another kind of model to predict the good or bad for humans. The argument of Hilo-system has a pretty long history. Then, it became the evidence of hexagram. Yu Yan criticized the opinions of different schools on the Hilo-system. The most important ones are Kong Anguo 's view that "Fu Hsi invented the eight trigrams in light of Hetu . Yu the Great wrote the book Jiuchou because of Luoshu." and Liu Mu 's view that "Hetu arranging 55 white and black dots orderly, Luoshu arranging 45 white and black dots orderly". Then, he used textual method to verify that the Hilo-system is representative of heaven. Hetu means the jade of a river and Luoshu means the white stone. All in all, he not only disputed with most scholars at that period on the Numeral of Zhouyi and the Book of Hilo-system, but also put up his own interpretations and contributed a lot to this issue. |
