| 后现代主义与经典马克思主义基本立场背道而驰,特里·伊格尔顿是英国著名的马克思主义文学理论家和文化批评家,他以自觉的马克思主义者身份迎接挑战,旗帜鲜明地从文化政治批判视角切入后现代主义论争,将后现代主义的起因归结为20世纪60年代激进运动的失败,并从后现代主义激进姿态中看到其保守本性:后现代主义不过是犬儒主义在晚期资本主义时期的表现。于是伊格尔顿对其展开针对性的批判,主张回归社会主义宏大叙事。站在马克思主义立场清算后现代主义思潮,也是中国学术界在移植后现代主义时必须做的工作,因此特里·伊格尔顿对后现代主义的批判值得深思。 |

| Abstract: |
| Postmodernism is opposite to classical Marxism. Terry Eagleton, a famous Marxist literary theorist and cultural critic,meets the challenge as a self-conscious Marxist and participates in postmodernism debate with a clear political stand. He attributes the beginning of postmodernism to the failure of radical political movements in the 1960s and reveals the conservative nature of postmodernism from its superficial and radical posture. That is, postmodernism is a kind of cynicism during the period of late Capitalism.Therefore, he argues for the socialism grand narrative. Terry Eagleton 's critique of postmodernism is worth of our deep consideration, as we must evaluate postmodernism comprehensively in the position of Marxism when we introduce in postmodernism. |
