| 《辛十四娘》是《聊斋志异》中较能体现蒲松龄叙事艺术的一部短篇小说。它采取“资助型”叙事模式,通过明暗双线叙事结构的设置,在遵循线性叙事的基础上,辅之以插叙和补叙,并利用第三人称全知视角和限知视角变换的技巧,实现小说情节有条不紊又出人意料地推进,同时在字里行间塑造辛十四娘高洁自持、勤俭持家、善于识人、谋略过人、一心修仙的人物形象,做到了人物形象塑造和故事情节推进的有机统一。 |

| Xin Shi Si Niang(The 14th Sister of the Xin Family) is a short story which can embody Pu Songling 's narrative art in Liao Zhai Zhi Yi. In this story, the "subsidizing" narrative mode is adopted. Its narrative structure consists of both the overt and covert plots. Linear narrative is applied, interspersed with parenthetical and added description. The third person omniscient perspective and limited perspective are both used. In this way, the story goes orderly with unexpected endings. The story portrays the image of Xin Shi Si Niang who is noble and clean, diligent and thrifty, and who is good at knowing people and skillful in strategy and keeps on self-cultivation. The characterization and the plot of the story are in organic unity. |
