| 明清讲史小说在人物形象塑造上存在着类型化倾向。而草莽类英雄是特殊的一类人,他们在外部体态、性格特征、语言与行为方式上与常人有着较大不同,如同戏曲中的“架子花脸”形象,是“力”与“勇”的化身。尽管在作品中只是个陪衬角色,但是他们起着其他人物类型无法企及的功能与效用。而且他们身上保持着人民的本性,寄寓了人民的道德理想与生活情趣,因而更受人民群众的喜爱。 |

| Abstract: |
| Types existed in personage 's image building in the novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. And outlaw heroes were people of a special kind, who were of great difference from the ordinary persons in external figure, personality, characteristic language and manner, and were the incarnations of "strength" and "bravery". Though they were supporting roles among works, they fully played a personage function and utility that other types couldn 't do. And they kept the people 's natural instinct, having sent and resided the people 's ethical ideal and delight of life, therefore being popular with more people than other types. |
