| Appropriately dealing with the cultural elements in translation teaching is the promise of good translation, because translation is closely related to culture. As for translating strategies, people usually use such means as literal translation and liberal translation as well as foreignization and domestication. However, these strategies are not absolute and unchanging. Special emphasis shall be laid on the relationship among writer, translator and reader, the textual function, and the changing situations. |
