| Abstract: |
| Because of the rise of modern media, establishment of image hegemony, together with the public spiritual reliance on the network, is constantly encroaching the dominion of literature, and simultaneously counteracting the poetic value in its noble role of reconstruction of human nature. Under the contemporary cultural context, people need to reconsider the aesthetic nature of literature and its unique artistic expression form, and meanwhile, try to reveal the intrinsic essence of literature, the reason of which is that literature can not only satisfy people 's aesthetic needs, but lead to a spiritual selftranscendence as well. This, in essence, is a very urgent historical issue which literary aesthetics needs to face. |
