| 研究型大学以创新性的知识传播、生产和应用为中心,以产出高水平的科研成果和培养高层次的精英人才为目标,在创新型国家建设过程中发挥着重要作用。中国研究型大学在建设的初级阶段,存在着办学定位不明晰、盲目追求数量扩张、科研条件薄弱、师资力量不足、学术氛围不浓厚等问题。因此,要进一步理清思路,坚持以特色求发展的办学之路,把握人才培养的中心任务,加强师资队伍建设,扩大办学自主权,建立现代大学制度,促进研究型大学的内涵式发展。 |

| Abstract: |
| Research universities center around propagating, producing and applying innovative knowledge, aiming at getting high level research outputs and cultivating high level elites and playing important roles in the process of constructing innovative country. Research universities in China, however, had problems of instinct running orientation, irrational expansion on quantity, poor research conditions, inadequate teachers, inactive academic atmosphere, etc. in the primary stage of construction. Consequently, we should further put ideas into shape, persist in taking the road of specialized development, hold fast to the key mission of cultivating talents, enhance the team of teachers, broaden the independency of running, build institutions of modern universities, and promote connotative development of research universities. |
