| With the aim of establishing first-class universities, cultivating first-class talents, building first-class teachers, and producing first-class scientific achievements, Yang Guanghua, a famous educator, has made great efforts in exploring innovative ways of running schools and has achieved fruitful results. His outstanding ideas and practice have led and laid a solid foundation for the construction and development of China University of Petroleum and Chinese higher petroleum education. His ideas of running schools are of great guiding and practical significance to the construction of first-class subjects, the cultivation of first-class talents, the strengthening of first-class teachers, and the establishment of first-class universities. |
