Abstract:
The carbon emissions trading system (hereinafter referred to as carbon trading) clarifies the property rights of carbon emissions and optimizes the allocation of emission reduction costs through market-based mechanisms, serving as a key policy instrument for China in advancing its carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and addressing climate change. Following the PRISMA guidelines, this paper retrieves high-quality academic articles on China 's carbon trading published between 1998 and 2024 from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database. The analysis shows that studies on carbon pricing and policy effectiveness constitute the two most prolific research themes in this field. By integrating bibliometric and content analysis, this study systematically reviews carbon pricing researches from four perspectives:patterns of carbon price fluctuations, mechanisms of carbon pricing, determinants of carbon prices, and carbon price forecasting. On this basis, a multi-level framework of carbon price influencing factors is constructed. Furthermore, the study provides a comprehensive review of 55 specific evaluation objects in the policy assessment literature, covering measurement indicators, evaluation results, heterogeneity analysis, and functional mechanisms from four dimensions of environmental, economic, innovation, and energy benefits respectively. Eventually, this paper identifies current research hotspots and frontier topics, offering systematic references to understanding the research landscape and advancing theoretical exploration in this domain.
