| Iron Man" not only represents the oil workers who struggled and dedicated to Daqing Oilfield, but also it has internalizedinto a symbol of culture. As times advance, this symbol has been endowed with different connotations. Hence come the different references of "Iron Man" under the same referential condition which gradually constitute the elements of the geological history of Daqing. The cultural interpretation and traceability research of the key word "Iron Man", such as the origin of the connotations, its derivatives, symbolization and extension of values, can help readers of history to observe the development course of this industrial city and perceive the cultural richness of "Iron Man" and Daqing Spirit. |
