| 徐光启翻译了《几何原本》等西方科学著作,引领了中国明末清初科技翻译的潮流。徐光启科技翻译的特色是“熔彼方之材质,入大统之型模”;“欲求超胜,必须会通;会通之前,必须翻译”;“与同西洋远臣龙华民、邓玉函等,日逐讲究翻译”。徐光启的科技翻译实践在本土化翻译策略、翻译战略规划、严谨翻译态度、合作翻译的方法、超越翻译本身的实践途径等方面有着重要的现实意义。 |

| Abstract: |
| Xu Guangqi translated Euclidis Elementorum Libri and some other works of science and technology from the west, opening up science and technology translation and its climax from the late Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty. In his science and technology translation, Xu highlighted incorporate western materials into Chinese tradition, give translation priority for surpassing western countries with good communication, and cooperation methods. His translation enlightens local awareness, strategical thought, scientific spirit and cooperation method, and translation for practice. |
