| 东盟采取其独特的处理内外关系的“东盟方式”处理复杂的南海争端,有效地缓和了东盟成员国之间及其同中国在南海问题上的冲突,避免了南海地区最差局面的出现,为该地区的发展创造了一个和平安全的环境。东盟方式处理南海争端的框架涵盖处理南海争端的基本目标、基本手段和效用。东盟方式处理南海争端的进程对中国解决南海争端、推动区域合作和创造良好的经济发展外部环境具有启发性意义。 |

| ASEAN takes its unique behavioral norms "ASEAN way" to handle the complex South China Sea disputes, and effectively eases the South China Sea conflict between the ASEAN member countries and China, which avoids the worst situation in the South China Sea and creates a peripheral environment of peace and security. This paper aims to analyze the fundamental objectives, means and utility of the "ASEAN way" to deal with the South China Sea disputes and interpret the "ASEAN way" in detail, which provides inspiring significance to China for handling the South China Sea disputes, promote regional cooperation and create a favorable external environment for the economic development. |
