| 弗莱在《批评的解剖》中区隔出独立循环的文学世界,但外在语境的缺失让文学整体循环的可能性受到质疑。弗莱起初通过建构文学的关怀功能来连接它与社会的断裂,但循环的动力何在依然悬而未决。因此在《圣经》研究中他引入意识形态概念,意识形态被限定为语言的一种功能特性,能根据社会的变迁来调整语言能指与所指的关系。由此文学整体循环的动力以及文学与社会的互动问题得以解决,同时还不违背文学的本体地位。但神话与意识形态的这种对接也让弗莱的原型批评逐渐走向更加宽泛的文化批评。 |

| "Ideology Turn" of Frye 's Archetypal Criticism |

| Abstract: |
| Frye isolated an independent and circular literary world in Anatomy of Criticism. But the possibility of the whole circle of literature was questioned because of the absence of external context. Initially Frye intended to connect literature with society through the concern function of literature, but where the motive power of circle comes from is still hanging. So he introduced the concept of ideology in the study of the Bible, which was defined as a function of language. Ideology can adjust the relationship of signifier and signified of language according to the changes of the society. The problems, such as where power comes from and what is the real relationship between literature and society, were solved. At the same time, it does not violate the ontological status of literature. But the connection between literature and ideology moves Frye 's archetypal criticism towards broader cultural criticism gradually. |
