中美高校教师发展运动的比较与启示

摘要:
2010年以来,中国掀起了一场声势浩大的高校教师发展运动,而美国在20世纪60年代也曾经历过高校教师发展运动。尽管中美两国高校教师发展运动发生的时间不同,但都是各自高等教育大众化发展的产物,都发生过由教师学术发展向教师全方位发展的转变,也经历了由注重单一类型教师向注重所有教师发展的过程。同时,二者也存在着以下不同:推动高校教师发展运动的主体不同;理论研究与实践探索相互促进的方式不同;高校开展教师发展工作的形式不同。美国的高校教师发展运动对中国有以下启示:高校要真正成为教师发展的主体;高校要开展多元化的教师发展工作;高校要开展适切的相关理论研究。

Abstract:
Since 2010, there has been a movement of faculty development (FD) in universities in China. In America the movement took place in 1960s. The movements in China and the USA took place in different times, but were both the product of popularization of higher education. Both went through transformation from teacher 's academic development to omni-bearing development. Both experienced the process from focusing on part of teachers to all teachers. The differences lie in the following aspects:the main body to promote the faculty development movement, the way to promote the interaction of research and practice, the work form of faculty development in universities. The movement of university 's faculty development in America has some enlightenment for China:First, university must become the main body of faculty development. Second, university must carry out diversified work form of faculty development. Third, university should carry out appropriate theoretical research of faculty development.
