| 衔接是语篇分析的重要课题之一。从Jakobson最早对衔接手段的研究,到Halliday与Hasan正式提出衔接理论,至魏在江先生提出的转喻衔接手段,衔接体系已日趋细密完善。对衔接的研究逐渐从篇内到篇外,从系统功能发展到语义、语用、认知及文体学研究的视角。Fauconnier与Turner等人提出的概念整合理论为诗歌意象与衔接关系的研究提供了新的视角。概念整合理论能够阐释、论证诗歌中的意象具有衔接功能。通过运用概念整合理论对叶芝诗歌中的意象意义构建进行认知文体分析,一方面验证诗歌意象具有强大的衔接力,另一方面尝试挖掘叶芝诗歌意象衔接的文体价值。 |

| Cohesion is one of the major concerns of discourse analysis. An intensive and perfect cohesion system has been formed from Jakobon 's earliest study of cohesive devices, to the establishment of cohesion theory by Halliday and Hasan, and to Wei Zaijiang 's metonymy cohesion. Cohesion is studied in a vast range from cohesion within the text to cohesion beyond the text, from the perspective of functional grammar, to the ones of semantics, pragmatics, cognitive linguistics and stylistics. Fauconnier 's and Turner 's theory of conceptual blending offers a new perspective for the study of the relationship between poetic image and cohesion. Conceptual blending theory can expound and prove that poetic image has cohesive functions. It is attempted to apply conceptual blending theory to make a cognitive stylistic analysis of construction of image meaning of Yeats poetry so that it will verify that poetic image has a powerful cohesive function and attempt to probe into the stylistic values of Yeats poetic image cohesion. |
