| 《平凡的世界》是路遥最重要的一部长篇小说,它全景式地描写了当代中国从1957年至1985年间纷繁复杂的城乡生活,刻画了社会各阶层众多的人物形象,在结构的营造、情节的推进、艺术风格等方面都表现出现实主义的内在特质,也是路遥有意识创作具有史诗性风范作品的积极探索。《平凡的世界》在读者市场得到了广泛认可和一致好评,但在学院派编写的文学史中却遭到了冷遇。它的成功与缺憾也折射出新时期现实主义史诗性创作的现状。 |

| Ordinary World is Lu Yao 's most important novel. It is a panoramic portrait of the complexity of urban and rural life of contemporary China from 1957 to 1985, and portrayed numerous characters of all walks of life. It shows the intrinsic qualities of realism in creating the structure, plot advancement, artistic style.It also shows Lu Yao 's conscious creation of the epic style of work. Ordinary World has been widely recognized and well received in the reader market, but has been snubbed in the history of literature written by the academics. Its success and disappointment also reflects the current situation in the new realism epic creation. |
