| 实现现代化是世界各国人民的普遍追求。西方式现代化是西方资本主义国家在长期的历史进程中逐步形成的,其本质特征是以资本为中心的“三单”现代化,即以资本无限扩张为根本动力的单极现代化、以物的现代化为最终目标的单维现代化、以“东方从属于西方”为世界图景的单线现代化。这导致了其困境和危机相互交织,形成了一个复杂的系统性总体危机,暴露出西方式现代化在经济、政治、文化、社会、生态等方面难以克服的内在缺陷。与西方式现代化相比,中国式现代化具有自己的独特性和优越性:以人的现代化代替物的现代化,推动社会发展和人的发展相统一；以系统观念进一步全面深化改革,推动经济社会全面发展；以文明交流互鉴代替文明隔阂冲突,推动构建人类命运共同体。 |

| Abstract: |
| The pursuit of modernization is a common aspiration of people around the world. Western-style modernization was gradually formed by Western capitalist countries over a long historical period. Its essential characteristics are the forms of modernization centered on capital, namely, the unipolar modernization driven by the unlimited expansion of capital, the one-dimensional modernization with the modernization of material things as the ultimate goal, and the linear modernization with the world picture of "the East subordinating to the West". This has led to the interweaving of its predicaments and crises, forming a complex systemic overall crisis, exposing the insurmountable inherent flaws of Western-style modernization in terms of economy, politics, culture, society, and ecology. Compared with Western-style modernization, Chinese modernization has its own uniqueness and superiority:replacing the modernization of material things with the modernization of people, promoting the unity of social development and human development; further comprehensively deepening reform with a systemic perspective, promoting the all-round development of the economy and society; replacing the estrangement and conflict between civilizations with exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. |
